• If you don't already have a PayPal account, click the PayPal image on the left (you will be redirected to PayPal's site to create a PayPal account).
• If you have already applied for PayPal's Website Payments Pro and have an
ASecureCart account, then you only need to grant permissions to ASecureCart.
1. Go to https://www.paypal.com
and sign in
2. Click on the Profile section under the My Account Tab
3. Under the Account Information column, you should see the API Access link,
click on that link
4. In the API Access page, click on the first link, "API Access Authorization".
Click either the "Get Started" link or the "View or Change API Permissions"
link.
5. Click on the Add button
6. For the API Account Name, enter: info_api1.asecurecart.net
7. Check on the following checkboxes for the following APIs:
Express Checkout
Direct Payment
*U.S. Merchants must have PayPal's Recurring Billing option enabled on your PayPal account for ASecureCart to
create recurring payment/subscription profiles. PayPal Website Payments Pro includes Recurring Billing for Canadian merchants.
